Computer Vision Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Developing in C/C++ Linux environment, you will create robust and maintainable VSLAM algorithms that use sensor data streams
• Test and implement computer/machine vision algorithms to enable object detection, estimation of pose and position, navigation aiding, and loop closure
• Develop tools for repeatable and robust calibration of complex multi-sensor packages using intrinsics and extrinsics (cameras, laser, INS, GNSS)
• Support and collaborate with the broader engineering team and our partner companies to produce reliable and complete product solutions
• Write efficient and maintainable code and support others with reviews and test
• Frequent field testing (local) and some international travel will be required

What you bring:

• Highly proficient in C/C++ programming and debugging. Proven track of writing robust code, with multiple GitHUB examples, portfolio of code, papers, credentials supported by references
• 6+ years experience in machine/computer vision, sensor integration, or similar
• Proven experience in NVIDIA Isaac VSLAM development, image processing, object detection, tracking, multi-view geometry
• Knowledge and experience in full-stack robotics development including multi-sensor integrations (camera, GPS, etc) and data processing
• Experience with OpenCV, CUDA, GPU programming
• Technical degree in Robotics, CS, Software Engineering or related field
• A positive attitude where you continuously strive for improvement and have the ability to succeed without all the answers
• Proven ability to inspire, encourage, and collaborate with your team
